Lake Livingston


Lake Livingston is located near Livingston, Texas in the heart of the East Texas Piney woods. It is the second largest reservoir wholly in the state of Texas, and is run by the Trinity River Authority. The dam was finished in 1969 and is 2.5 miles long and 55 feet deep. It is a water supply reservoir serving Houston and Galveston, with no flood control capabilities. It is popular for recreation and fishing, including white bass, channel catfish, largemouth and stripers.  More Lake Information
